Old world charm, Yes. Relevance to the audience around, NO. That's the story of this club. Maybe, when it was conceived, it was as a neighborhood club with tons of snob value. Sadly, it's being continued without being relevant to the current target audience. Not to be critical, this place is crying for remodelling; both concept, features and facilities. It's amongst the best located neighborhood clubs in one of the most tony areas of Delhi. Parking is a huge problem. It has restrictions of timing. There's huge competition from the modern contemporary clubs and lounges in the private sector.
I had a really disappointing experience at the Angeethi restaurant. The service was honestly one of the worst I’ve seen in a while. The staff barely paid attention, and even after calling them multiple times, it felt like we were just being ignored. Orders took forever, and when the food finally came, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. It didn’t feel like the staff cared about the customers at all. Good food can sometimes make up for slow service, but when you feel completely unheard as a customer, it just ruins the whole experience. Definitely not a place I’d recommend unless they seriously improve their service.
It's a club where members come to relax n enjoy various activities. Membership is restricted. It's popular among bureaucrats.
A very old club situated in Delhi's prime colony Vasant Vihar. It has restaurants and banquets. The lawn and Swimming pool is there also. Catering is done by Kwality Caterers.
Well maintained club and garden area. We went for the 23:23 Earth mela on International Women's Day and it was decorated with flowers and balloons and there were many women's owned businesses. Some were clothes, bakery, jewellery, utensils, wooden furniture and food stalls. It was interesting to see people interact with various genres of people
