Modern Study Library is one of the worst study places I’ve experienced. The AC barely works, and the inverter fails frequently, making it impossible to sit and study comfortably. The receptionist is unprofessional and unhelpful. There are mosquitoes everywhere, hygiene is extremely poor, and basic cleanliness is completely ignored. Drinking water is often unavailable. On top of that, most of the positive reviews here seem fake and posted by their own family members. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a serious study environment to avoid this place. Myself Asif from Kashmir, there from Siligam,District Anantnag. I would like to share my experience regarding the Modern Study Library located in Batla House near Jamia Millia Islamia New Delhi. In my opinion, it is one of the finest libraries in the area. The management is highly supportive, cooperative, and attentive to the needs of students. The facilities provided are commendable, including proper air conditioning, availability of filtered drinking water, and a high standard of cleanliness, which creates a conducive environment for focused study. I joined this library in April 2022 as a UPSC aspirant while pursuing my Honours in Political Science from the University of Delhi (DU). And studying in this library for 3 years till April 2025 ,have made a beautiful memories in my life. My experience has been very positive, and I would highly recommend this library to serious aspirants and students.
