Awesome place for books lovers....there are different kinds of books and also provide facilities for sitting to do self studies. Quiet and calm place for students. But library need some more books for college students like 10 years or something which is more relatable to their syllabus. Anyone can get membership easily just reach to them or call them they provide I'd cards after sometime and your favourite book is yours for 2 weeks. This library is not only for students this is accessable for every citizen so why are u waiting just go and find your book and comment that which book is your favourite🤟
there are plenty of books.. which are quite enough for one to read and spend time, faculty is also very friendly and help you search your needs, Since library is not that big, but still you can get something as per your taste here. Earlier reader were not allowed to sit and read there, but now this restriction is removed and better facilities are available including surveillance CCTV camera, Online checkin n checkout, and better collection of books then ever before, you can get fiction, nonfiction, Children's book, competitive exams book, poetry, newspaper, magazines etc. Its great initiative by D3lhi Govt. you can be a member for minimal registration charges then its free for 5 years.
Its not as good as other libraries. There is no AC or cooler. Seats are very less. Barely 10 to 15. No water facility or canteen. Librarian is helpful and good. You will get good books.. novels, children stories and competition books. Computer facility is also there.
As Delhi public library is operated by Delhi govt. The place is not enough good as compare to other libraries. Contains less books , have a lot of story books and novels , does not contain NCERT books that's a terrible thing that it operated by govt. But doesn't contains any NCERT BOOKS availability of very less useful books here. STAFF : that's good but we don't need to mean with them as library means to contains as many books as it can for better results of it occurance. Shortage of space too make it annoying .
Nice place to study with peace and calm. Nearly all the required stuff is available. Many newspapers of different publishers are available. Next to Ring road easy connectivity. Nearest metro station aiims on Yellow line and lajpat nagar for voilet line. Section are well organised,easy to locate any book or magzine. Packing facility is also their for free.
