Well maintained Library with courteous staff. Appreciate ALIO sir for his best management despite staff crunch.
Poor management. The books are kept randomly. There is no order. The staff asks you find the book you want on your own and that too in whole library because they don't bother to organise books in any manner. After spending two hours looking for an Agatha Christie book (which was showing available in Shahdara branch in online catalogue) I wasn't able to locate it. They don't update their database also. Clueless staff. So very typical of government employees.
A affordable and genuine library. Yearly membership is Rs 100 only. For reading space it's Rs 200/month. Nice collection of books. Parking is available for two wheelers only. Reading area is bit small but nice environment for students
Awesome library and excellent supportive staff , Book are very useful all categories student non students and also good clean quiet environment. I have memberships since 2015 . Govt Should more investment for new open library across India
One of the best public library in the area. Whenever I go there my childhood memories get alive. A large collection of books and magazines. We use to take comics from here and return it next day. There is a reading room which allow us to read there. Great collection of books for all age and group. One must visit this place for seeing how a public library can be managed in between of a crowded market. Govt should open more such libraries
